Welcome to the Southern Region Page

As it is 330 miles from Alabama's northernmost to its southernmost borders, it is nearly impossible for a rider who lives at one end of the state to attend a Dixie ABATE meeting near the other end of the state. To help remedy that problem, a group of passionate Dixie ABATE members in the Mobile area have started a Southern Region Chapter.
They are filling positions as they can, and the meet regularly on the second Sunday of each month. You will find links to their meeting notes, flyers, and other news of their activities here.

There are no lines drawn on the map to delineate this region, so Alabama members are free to choose where they want to meet. The statewide organization meets monthly, and every meeting is somewhere different. They are moved all over the state to accommodate members in every area. If you don't like to ride far, just be patient. A meeting will come within an hour of you eventually.
